Why did you choose MBA?

          I wanted to develop leadership skills, and understand the nature of business, project management and team building. It's the first step to several important life long dreams.

What leadership skills did you learn/develop when you were in SWE?

            SWE has helped me define my leadership skills, marketing savvy, and project management coordination. It has also opened up my interest in using my newly found business skills in engineering and manufacturing.

What will you do in the next 2 years?

            At the end of the summer 2009, I will graduate and prepare to return to my hometown, Indianapolis. There I hope to diversify into a career that balances both IT and business management.

What are you goals in the next 2 years?

            I intend to start 2 non-profit organizations from grass roots: an ongoing volunteer effort which will beautify Indianapolis, and a second which will work with young people introducing to real life business challenges.This is where the MBA comes in.  ;-)

What is your favorite SWE memory?

            So far, the end of the year sushi party. Sooooo fun!

What is 1 thing that you ABSOLUTELY LOVE about SWE?

        How well we all cooperate in getting things done.  It's awesome and makes the club so worth while!

Are you going to come back and visit us?

            Yep!

What do you want to say to new SWE members/interest students?

        Get involved. You'll never what you can do if you don't get involved and try. SWE (local, regional and national) has a lot to offer to women engineers. And as females, we should continue taking part in encouraging young girls towards engineering.

What do you do in your free time?

            Bellydance, mosaic art, photography, reading, community volunteering, sewing, IT studies, web development

Favorite Celebs?

            None worth mentioning. Not a celebrity kind of girl.

Are you a shopping freak? Chicflick, Action or Horror movies?

            Hehehehehe.... Sci-fi girl, Home Depot & Tile Mart chic, prefer movies that make you think, or exploit the bulging muscles of probably not so intelligent men. (hey! I'm just keepin' it real.)

Why Belly Dance?

            Belly dance is the only form of dancing where women dominate but don't hate. Easily on the joints, good for the muscles, and makes great use of body fat. What girl wouldn't enjoy that?

Would you ever want to learn Martial Art? Kick Boxing?

            Briefly, but not for the long term.

What is the one thing that you can't live without?

            Probably chocolate & coffee. I can go a few weeks without them, but then all hell breaks loose close to my period. Oh!!! and Joseph. 

Do you like pets? What?

            Yep. Cats and dogs. But I don't have any.

If we plan to go to the beach for Spring Break, will you join us? What beach would you choose?

            Sorry!!!! I have to go to D.C. and then Indy over spring break!  :-(  But I am interested in "end of semester" parties.  :-D
