What: SWE general meeting discussing upcoming events,
introductions, and food & drinks.
What: Come to Chick-Fil-A to enjoy great CFA meals with SWE members. Also, donuts provided by Krispy Kreme will be sold on campus!
What: During E-Week SWE will host a diversity panel consisting of different cultures Southern Poly has to offer!
When: Girls Night Out! SWE members will get together and vote on where we should go whether it be: restaurant, bowling, movies, mall, etc. Also, a slumber party is a definite possibility for all members!
What: Join SWE members in TN for our annual regional conference! Meet other Region D members, attend helpful skill workshops, and enjoy the atmosphere of Memphis, TN!
What: Have you ever been camping? Better yet, have you ever enjoyed the great outdoors with SWE members? Well now is your chance as SWE members will brave the great outdoors in our first camping extravaganza!
What: Due to popular demand, the annual award banquet is back for 2010! Come join us for food, entertainment, awards, and our special guest speaker.
What: Come to Chick-Fil-A on Cobb Pkwy to enjoy great CFA meals with SWE members!
What: Girls Night Out, once a month. SWE members get together for some good times! We will vote on where we want to go: restaurant, bowling alley, club, etc. you name it. We also use this occasion to celebrate new members who join during the month aka new member's bill is free (for that GNO only)
What: Students can come to the Community Center to get their FREE ice cream and learn more about SWE! Everyone get free ice cream when they subscribe to SWE-SPSU email list!
What: Want a resume that can get you an interview and a job? Then bring your resume to SWE. We have collaborated with Atlanta Professional SWE members to help go over your resume! Next, we have our own SPSU students who had worked with companies during their Co-op/Internship terms and want to share that experience with you! Must-go if you never have had a Co-op or an Internship before!
What: Come to Coldstone and enjoy great ice cream with SWE members!

What: Do you know how to dress appropriately for an interview? It is easy for guys but, not for girls! Come to our session to learn what the Do's and Don'ts! Afterwords, we will talk about Career Fair, what should you say, and how should you approach a company's personnel at a CF.
What: To collect food and clothing for children and families in need!
What: Honeywell people are going to come talk to us about their corporate, the wide variety of products that they provide to other companies, and inform us how a "just-graduated" engineers will fit in their company. If you are Electrical or Mechanical, or Mechatronic, you can't miss this great presentation from Honeywell!

What: "Diversity in Engineering” Event: SWE-SPSU, along with SHPE & NSBE is hosting “Diversity in Engineering” discussion panel! Exciting guests will be joining us for lively discussion about diversity in engineering fields. You will have a chance to ask questions too! Come prepared!

What: At our next general meeting we will be having a “Picture Day” to take professional portraits! Come dressed in something professional-looking for your photograph. It doesn’t have to be formal, but you can wear business formal or casual – whatever you like, as long as its looks nice and professional!

What? We will make fresh smoothies and sell them to students. Price for each smoothie is about $1.00. The Fund Raising should be from 11:30 pm to 1:30 pm.
