Cindy Nguyen - Section President 

          Hey everyone! My name is Cindy Nguyen (I'm Vietnamese in case you are wondering) I'm a junior in Industrial Engineering Technology.  This is my 2nd year as the Section President. I joined SWE in my 1st year at Southern Poly because I wanted to connect with more female students in school. After I have joined SWE for 2 years, I have gained so many skills and benefits  and I really want to share the same experience to other students. My goals for this year as a Section President are 1) making a different in SWE, 2) have more Professional Development & Networking opportunities and 3) fun activities for the member to enjoy!  Wiletta Harris - Events Coordinator

          I’m a Mechanical Engineering Technology student here at Southern Poly.  I joined SWE in my first year at Southern Poly.  I became a member because I wanted to get more involved on campus, and meet new people.  My goals for this year as Events Coordinator are to have more activities on campus, and have more campus involvement. I am a proud member of SWE, and I enjoy being around professional and perceptive women. Amy Phaiboun - Vice President

  Hi ladies and gentlemen!  My major is Industrial Engineering Technology. Currently, I am a Senior going to school full-time and helping out with my family's restaurant. Also, I'm in the co-op program working with Shaw Industries.  This is my 2nd year with SWE and I love it!!  I joined SWE because I enjoy the networking and leadership opportunities, fun events, professional development, etc! My goal as the SWE Section Vice President is to have SWE operate as an outstanding, active, and efficient organization that is continuing to make a difference.

Hello Ladies and gentlemen, it is my honor to welcome you to the swe-spsu website!!! I am an Industrial Engineering Technology major, minoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Logistics and Quality Control. This is my second year at Southern Polytechnic State University and I enjoy it to the fullest degree!

I joined the Society of Women engineers because I wanted to meet more well rounded, enthusiastic, and goal-oriented individuals on campus. I love SWE because of the different leadership opportunities and great benefits such as seminars and events. By being the recruiting chair, I would like to accomplish increasing our membership enrollment on campus and getting more students involved.

            Greetings! Currently, I'm a Industrial Engineering Technology major here at Southern Polytechnic.  Also, I'm a junior who just completed his 2nd term of co-op with Shaw Industries Inc.  I joined SWE in my sophmore year at Southern Poly because I wanted to become more involved with the campus and network with other students. As the only male officer for SWE, my goals for this year are to consistently keep the website updated and improve the overall appearance of the site.  Also, another goal of mine is to inform others that SWE is not just a female only organization and males can join too.

                 Welcome! I am junior, majoring in Civil Engineering Technology student at Southern Polytechnic State University.  This is my Junior Year.  I feel that SWE is a great source to connect with other young women who are in similar fields such as engineering, math, science, and technology, who want to advance in their careers and help to empower other women along the way. 

As treasurer of the SWE-SPSU chapter, I plan to keep accurate financial records of all transactions and keep the chapter financially stable.

Audrey Curtis- Secretary

Bonjour mes amis, 
My name is Audrey Curtis and I'm a Junior Civil Engineering Technology(CET) Major here at SPSU.  This is my first year at SPSU and Secretary of this section, but I've been a member of SWE for 3 years now. I was previously enrolled at Columbus State University and held the same position there with that section, from which I was introduced to Cindy.  I love being in SWE because it allows to me to interact with other women whom I can relate, support, and rely on when in need of assistance NOW and in the FUTURE.   As the Section Secretary, my goal is to keep records and maintain any and all information pertaining to our organization.  I love working with such a fun group of ladies and gent and look forward to the rest of the year!
